How To Increasing your Windows XP Loading Speed

To improve performance when loading windows xp is by reduce the program running on startup.
Step One:

Press Start and select Run and enter the command msconfig.

After system configuration opened then select the startup tab and uncheck the list of program that you don’t want to run at startup and click apply and ok.

or select disable all if you desire no programs running at startup

Step Two:
The next step is by disable some running services. To disable some running services, open services.msc through the run or through the control panel. Select the service you wish to disable and then right click and chose properties, on the properties select disabled on the startup type menu.
Here are some services that I recommend for the disabled:

  • Alerter
  • Automatic Updates(If you do not want to update)
  • ClipBook
  • Error Reporting Service
  • Help And Support
  • IIS Admin
  • Indexing Service
  • Messeger
  • Net Logon
  • NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing
  • Network DDE
  • Network DDE DSDM
  • Network Provisioning Service
  • Print Spooler (if you do not use the printer)
  • Remote Desktop Help Session Manager
  • Remote Registry
  • Routing and Remote Access
  • Secondary Logon
  • System Restore Service(not recomended for all user)
  • TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
  • Telnet
  • WebClient
  • Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)(if you use antivirus software)
  • Windows Time
  • WMI Performance Adapter
